"Everyone should read the Time article entitled "Bitter Pill: Why Medical Bills are Killing Us." Issue March 4, 2013. Greed has ruined the health system for several decades."

"Why do I have to pay more for health insurance just because I don't work outside the home? If I don't belong to a "group" then my premiums are more. Everyone should get the same rate discounts."

"I have not heard or seen anyone take responsibility for their own health. Since the Affordable Act has been passed my family keeps paying more and more for our insurance as we get less and less coverage. Health care will not improve as government takes control, it will get worse. Health care will never be free. Someone has to pay for it!"

"I'm a native of Colorado and it frustrates me that I and my family can't afford or qualify for health care. My husband has many serious health issues, and now is worried his medicaid might be taken away. I am paying out of pocket for my care and trying to avoid collection agencies. My son is trying to stay in college. "You don't qualify." I've heard that everywhere I go."

"Even those of us fortunate enough to have good health insurance will (literally) be bankrupt if diagnosed with a serious illness. Annual deductibles and co-pay amounts can easily reach $50,000+. Pharmaceutical companies, medical tech companies and hospitals are making billions at the expense of the uninformed public. The government needs to regulate these companies who are exploiting those who are ill. Our legislators need to study other countries and learn how quality, accessible, and successful health care is provided to all people. "
